Polishing is usually done by using
a polishing compound (not rubbing compound) and a buffing machine.
The purpose of polishing is to remove all the dead paint. Basically
it’s like taking a loofa sponge to your body to exfoliate
the dead skin. If you chose to only wax your car you will not
get as smooth of a surface as you will with polishing and waxing. |
